A Journey That Never Really Ends

Some adventures don’t end when you come home. They change shape — from airports and boardrooms to stories, memories, and the urge to share what you’ve seen. That’s how Adventurous Wench was reborn: as a space for women who live curiously, travel boldly, and believe that adventure isn’t defined by age or destination, but by spirit.

Behind this platform are two women connected by their shared love of exploration — and by a chance meeting that turned into friendship.

Marion van den Ende

Born in 1965, Marion’s path began far from where she imagined it would lead. “My career as an international lawyer for a major firm gave me the incredible opportunity to travel the world,” she says. “Through every stage of my professional life, I explored countless corners of the globe.”

From corporate meetings in New York to negotiations in Singapore and quiet mornings in European cafés, Marion collected more than just miles — she collected perspectives. Travel became her way to understand people, cultures, and herself.

“Now that life has settled into a gentler pace,” she adds, “I’ve decided to share those stories online. I chose this platform, Adventurous Wench, not only to inspire a new generation of adventurous women but also as a way to pay tribute to the original founders — honoring the spirit of their work on this domain.”

What began as a professional journey has evolved into something more personal: a creative project rooted in curiosity, respect, and the belief that every woman carries her own kind of courage.

Elena Vittori

Fate has its own sense of timing. During a business trip in Italy, Marion met Elena Vittori, born in Tuscany in 1977 — a painter, traveler, and storyteller with an eye for emotion and detail.

Elena had started her career, just like Marion, in law. The two immediately found common ground — discussing their shared backgrounds in advocacy, the challenges of the legal world, and their mutual love of travel. Yet Elena’s path soon took a different turn. She chose to follow the passion her father had passed down to her: painting and sculpture.

Together with her husband, Stefano Moretti, Elena has journeyed across continents, translating what she’s seen into art. Her series of paintings — from her soulful portraits of dogs to her celebrated Women of the World collection — captures both beauty and strength, often in the same brushstroke.

Elena’s work celebrates connection: between people, animals, and the landscapes that shape them. Her artistic vision complements Marion’s storytelling, blending words and imagery into one shared mission — to make Adventurous Wench a living tribute to women who explore the world with open eyes and fearless hearts.

Keeping the Spirit Alive

Together, Marion and Elena maintain Adventurous Wench with care and passion. They see it not as a brand, but as a conversation — a space for women who love adventure, whether that means trekking across continents, diving into a new culture, or simply saying “yes” to something unknown.

Every story published here is written with authenticity and experience. Every destination is explored with curiosity and respect. And every piece of advice is rooted in real journeys — lived, learned, and remembered.

For Marion and Elena, Adventurous Wench is more than a website. It’s a shared legacy. A bridge between the past and the present. And a reminder that adventure doesn’t belong to the fearless — it belongs to the willing.

A New Chapter: November 7, 2025 – introducing Camille Renaud

Today, our circle of storytellers is expanding. We are thrilled to welcome a new voice to the Adventurous Wench team: Camille Renaud.

Born in France and a graduate of Paris’s esteemed International Tourism Management program, Camille brings a different kind of map to the table. At 35, her expertise is rooted deep within the travel world itself. After graduating cum laude, she spent years working for a global travel organization, understanding the intricate details of what makes a journey truly unforgettable.

Having grown up in the digital age, Camille’s role will extend beyond storytelling. While she will share her own travel narratives, she will also be our technical guardian—enhancing our digital home and lending her expert eye to ensure the accuracy and integrity of every story we tell. Her sharp, modern, and distinctly French perspective is the perfect complement to our team, and we are certain her contributions will enrich this space we all cherish.
